About Us
Faith Pincus, Esq.
President
Faith Pincus is a dynamic, accomplished and experienced speaker who will boost your self-confidence and give you the tools you need to succeed at public speaking. Faith is an expert at public speaking who has trained elected and appointed officials, candidates, CEO’s, attorneys and management at non-profit associations for almost two decades. As a licensed attorney, she is also uniquely positioned to understand the speaking skills required of attorneys.
Faith has an innate ability to see what works in the public speaking context. She has an unbridled passion for public speaking and for making people better communicators. Faith is an expert in the art of persuasion and an accomplished speechwriter.
Prior to opening Pincus Communications, Inc., Ms. Pincus ran more than 25 political campaigns, including campaigns for congress, the California state assembly and senate, and various mayoral, city council and county supervisor races throughout California. Faith has created public affairs campaigns for non-profit associations, city governments, the building and transportation industries and cable TV.
Ms. Pincus has taught various public speaking courses at the university level for several years, including rhetoric (persuasion), public speaking, and interpersonal and small group communication. She has published a variety of articles on communication and persuasion, including an analysis of major war announcement speeches.
Ms. Pincus has a Masters in Communication from the California State University, at Fresno, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa. She is a former Judicial Clerk for the honorable Oliver W. Wanger of the United States District Court, Eastern District of California and a Member of the Order of the Coif. Ms. Pincus litigated for one of the top AmLaw 20 law firms before returning to her passion and specialty – public speaking.
Sandy Linville
Communication Training Specialist
Pincus Communications, Inc.
Sandy Linville is a Communication Training Specialist with Pincus Communications, Inc.. She conducts large public speaking and communication skills seminars as well as in-house small group training sessions. She also provides one-on-one coaching.
As a former corporate training specialist for AT&T, Ms. Linville is a certified trainer in Customer Excellence and Leadership training, which includes conflict resolution and Time Management. Ms. Linville also focuses on train-the-trainer programs, conducting such courses as an Instructional Skills Workshop and the Corporate T3 program.
Ms. Linville has also been a professor of communication for the past 10 years. Ms. Linville has taught a wide range of courses including public speaking, interpersonal communication, group communication, persuasion and is an expert in the study of argumentation.
Ms. Linville competed on the Intercollegiate Debate Team for UC Davis and was named to the All-American Debate team in 1993. She has continued her involvement with Intercollegiate Debate by coaching the Speech and Debate Team for Butte College and California State University, Fresno. Ms. Linville is serving her second term as Vice President of Finance for the Northern California Forensics Association.
Ms. Linville received her B.A. in Rhetoric and Communication from the University of California, Davis, where she was awarded an Outstanding Performance Citation. She has a Masters in Communication from California State University, Fresno. Ms. Linville has taught at Butte College, College of the Sequoias, Fresno City College and California State University, Fresno.
